Profile
Mind Robotics was spun out of Rivian in 2025 by Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, who chairs it. It is building foundation models and purpose-built industrial robots, trained on video of skilled workers on Rivian's live vehicle lines, for dexterous factory tasks such as fastening and connector mating. Rivian is a shareholder and its first manufacturing partner. It raised $500M in Mar 2026 and another $400M in May 2026, taking its total above $1B.
Notes Reported The $3.4B valuation was reported by Reuters, citing a person familiar; the company has not published it.
