Profile

Telexistence builds robots that a remote operator can drive and that increasingly act on their own, aimed first at restocking shelves in convenience stores. It was founded in 2017 to commercialize 'telexistence' research from the University of Tokyo. Its $170M Series B in July 2023 brought in SoftBank and a Foxconn-linked fund, and it has said Foxconn will help mass-produce its next-generation GHOST robot.
