Profile
Vingroup set up VinDynamics in Hanoi in September 2025 with charter capital of VND 500B (about $19M), 51% held by Vingroup, to research, develop and make robots. President La Manh Hung directs the Advanced Robotics and Automation Lab at the University of Nevada, Reno, and CTO Nguyen Quang Vinh was head of control and behavior at Ghost Robotics. Its first humanoid, Dyno, was shown at ICRA and Computex in June 2026. It is aimed at security and surveillance and is being developed as a household helper, and it was piloted as a guide at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc. In April 2026 Schaeffler agreed to develop and supply planetary gearboxes for its actuators, its first such deal with a humanoid maker in Asia-Pacific. In June 2026 VinDynamics signed an MOU with Skild AI to explore running the Skild Brain on its robots.
Notes Charter capital is registered capital, not a funding round; no outside funding is disclosed. The Skild AI deal is an MOU to explore cooperation. The Vinpearl Safari pilot is single source (Vingroup).
