Profile
Vingroup set up VinRobotics in Hanoi in November 2024 with charter capital of VND 1,000B (about $39M). Vingroup holds 51%, Pham Nhat Vuong 39%, and Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang 5% each. Vingroup says it focuses on robots for heavy industry and humanoids. Its third-generation humanoid, VR-H3, was shown at ICRA and Computex in June 2026, and its site lists humanoid and semi-humanoid prototypes for industrial work. VinRobotics says it will open-source some foundational robotics technology. Vingroup says production of its first robot generation starts at low volume in late 2026 or early 2027.
Notes Charter capital is registered capital, not a funding round; no outside funding is disclosed. All robots are prototypes. The specifications are VinRobotics' own.
